He graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Plant Protection in 2005. In 2007, he completed his master's thesis titled "Studies on the Diagnosis of Peach Latent Mosaic Viroid (PLMVd) and Hop Stunt Viroid (HSVd) in Stone Fruit Trees using RT-PCR Method" at the Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences, Department of Plant Protection, Ege University. In 2020, he completed his doctoral study titled "Investigation of Biological Control Opportunities for Bean Halo Blight Disease (Pseudomonas syringae pv. phaseolicola)" at the Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences, Department of Plant Protection, Mustafa Kemal University. Until 2012, he worked in the private sector in project management and procurement of Contracted Seed Production, Organic Agriculture, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, and Oilseeds. He also worked in Agricultural Consulting, Organic and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) production, and export. In 2012, he started his civil service career at Diyarbakır Plant Protection Research Institute, in the Bacteriology laboratory. As of 2014, he has been appointed to the Directorate of Ankara Plant Protection Central Research Institute and continues his work in the Bacteriology laboratory in the same institution.
