Başkent University Journal of Education (BUJE) is a refereed journal published twice a year by Başkent University. The publication languages ​​of the journal are Turkish and English. Başkent University Journal of Education is indexed by ULAKBİM. Başkent University Journal of Education (BUJE) published its 23^rd issue in January 2025, and the theme for the 2025 special issue to be published on the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of the establishment of Başkent University Faculty of Education was determined as “New Paradigms in Teacher Education”.

Our special issue with the theme of “New Paradigms in Teacher Education” aims to address current transformations and innovative approaches in the field of teacher education. In this context, original research focusing on topics such as examining teacher competencies, empirical research on teacher education policies and programs, comparison of national and international teacher education approaches, technology integration, professional development models and interdisciplinary studies in the context of teacher education are expected.
The articles to be sent for the special issue must be uploaded to the system via DergiPark.

Authors who want to send articles to the special issue must select the option “I want to send my article to the special issue” in the first step of the submission process

All candidate submissions for the special issue call will go through a preliminary review and referee evaluation process in line with BUJE ethical principles and publication policy, as in other issues. As a result of the reviews, the submission can be published if at least two positive referee reports are received.

The special issue will be published on November 30, 2025. The total number of articles to be published will be determined by the BUJE Editorial Board.
