Sibel Aybek is currently working as a research assistant with MA at English Language Teaching Department. She is a PhD candidate, majoring in applied linguistics. Her main research interests include corpus linguistics, particularly in the area of second language acquisition research with a focus on computer-based interlanguage analysis, sentiment and semantic analysis, and linguistic diversity. She has participated in a few EU projects which are mainly about immigration issues, youth, disadvantaged groups, and digital literacy. She is currently involved in an EU project as a researcher.
