Ankara University Journal of the Faculty of Languages and History-Geography (DTCF Journal) is an Open Access journal and provides immediate open access to its contents. The Journal aims to promote the development of global Open Access to scientific information and research. The Journal of the Faculty of Language and History-Geography also supports the Budapest Open Access Initiative, which was accepted on 12 September 2012. All articles published in the Journal of the Faculty of Language and History-Geography are licensed under the "Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial- 4.0 International License." This license grants the right to reproduce, share and distribute all published articles, data sets, graphics and annexes in data mining applications, search engines, websites, blogs and in any other medium, provided that they are cited. Open access is a publishing model that facilitates interdisciplinary communication and encourages different disciplines to work with each other. In this context, the Journal of the Faculty of Language and History-Geography provides value added to its field by offering more access to its articles and a more transparent evaluation process.

Within the scope of its open access policy, the Journal of the Faculty of Language and History-Geography proposes libraries include the content of the Journal in the library catalogue records. Ankara University, the publisher of the Journal of the Faculty of Language and History-Geography, undertakes that it will not charge any subscription or fee for access to online published articles.
