Publication Review Policy

Education Science and Sports journal follows a two-stage process, namely Editorial review and Referee Evaluation process, in the evaluation of submitted manuscripts.


Evaluation Process

Immediately after submission, the Editor-in-Chief pre-checks the manuscript for compliance with the journal's purpose, scope, ethical research and writing standards. The manuscript is then forwarded to the Pre-Review and Statistics editors.

The manuscript is re-examined by the Preliminary Review Editor in terms of journal writing rules and the scope of the journal publication. Afterwards, the necessary controls are carried out by the statistics editor for the statistical suitability of the study.


After the editorial controls, the process of field editor assignment and field editor review is started. Three referees are assigned by the field editor according to their areas of expertise and double blind review process standards and the following process is followed.
