Journal of Etlik Veterinary Microbiology (Journal of Etlik Vet Microbiol) is a national and peer-reviewed academic journal that is evaluated by the double-blind referees of the Central Research Institute of Veterinary Control, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkish Republic. It is published in Turkish and English twice a year, in June and December. Original research, case reports, short papers, invited reviews, and letters to the editor are published in the Etlik Veterinary Microbiology Journal. Review articles; It is accepted if it is original, it contains the latest innovations and there is no repetition of classical information. The author, who prepares the review, is required to have made original publications and research on that subject at the national or international level. Our journal is open to scientific papers from all international countries. Journal of Etlik Veterinary Microbiology is subject to research and publication ethics standards. Plagiarism can lead to the rejection of a manuscript even after acceptance. The editors act in accordance with the relevant international publication and research ethics rules (COPE guidelines, CSI White Paper on Publication Ethics, ORI) in case of any ethical misconduct. Assuming that the scientific works submitted for publication in our journal are conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on the Welfare and Protection of Animals Used for Experimental and Other Scientific Purposes and that all necessary institutional ethical and legal permissions have been obtained, does not accept responsibility as journal management. If the “Animal” is used in the study, the authors must state that they protect animal rights in their studies and that they have received approval from the relevant ethics committee. Our journal expects and supports the compliance of 3R (Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement) rules in the use of experimental animals in accordance with the European consensus platform for alternative strategies in scientific studies. In the evaluation of the manuscript, an unbiased opinion is obtained from the double-blind referee. If deemed necessary, opinions may be obtained from another referee. The referees are given 20 days for the evaluation process. However, in some cases, there may be a delay in the opinion of the referee. The journal cannot be held responsible for this situation. Authors who want to file an objection or complaint about the submitted articles should first send an objection letter to the editor-in-chief. The letter should provide detailed information about the objection or complaint. In such a case, the responsible editor shall appoint one of the members of the editor or editorial board to examine the matter as soon as possible. If necessary, an external expert may be appointed as a mediator to investigate the problem. However, the responsible editor is the ultimate authority in the decision-making process for all appeals and complaints. The journal complies with the COPE guidelines when examining its objections and complaints. When the manuscript is sent by the responsible author through the system, it is considered that some part or all of the manuscript is not published elsewhere and is not in the process of being evaluated in another journal at the same time. All authors are deemed to have agreed on the content and content of the publication. The financial support and the relationship of interest should also be reported to the editor at the time of application. If the full texts of the manuscripts are submitted in Turkish and English and accepted for publication, they are accepted as a single manuscript and published in Turkish and English respectively. Since the corrections of the submitted manuscripts are made according to the original text, all responsibility (ethical, scientific, legal, etc.) of the manuscripts belong to the authors. Manuscripts submitted for publication in the journal are sent to the journal with the wet signed Copyright Transfer Agreement. Journal of Etlik Veterinary Microbiology supports open access. This is an open-access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
