Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine the effect of job satisfaction on entrepreneurship tendencies and to determine the mediating role of transformational leadership in this effect. For this purpose, data were obtained through a questionnaire form consisting of "Job Satisfaction Scale", "Entrepreneurship Tendencies Scale" and "Transformational Leadership Scale", together with demographic questions. The universe of the study consisted of 160 employees working in a public institution in Balıkesir province, and the sample of the study consists of 100 employees. Reliability analysis, frequency analysis, normality test, multiple correlation analysis, simple and multiple regression analysis were performed with the obtained data. As a result of the regression analysis, it was found that job satisfaction affects entrepreneurial tendencies, transformational leadership affects entrepreneurial tendencies, transformational leadership affects job satisfaction, and transformational leadership has a partial mediating role in the relationship between job satisfaction and entrepreneurial tendencies.
