Extended Summary

The Editorial Board of our journal has decided to publish Turkish articles to be published as of 2021 together with Extended Summary. Extended Summary will pave the way for articles to be cited internationally.

An extended Summary will be requested from the authors when the study is accepted for publication, with the thought that there may be changes in the methods and findings of the studies during the referee process.
The Extended Summary must be 500-750 words long; subject and purpose of the study; The difference, method, findings, and results of the study from other studies should be given clearly under subheadings.
The subtitles in the Extended Summary may vary depending on the type of study.
The extended summary should be structured after the bibliography.

Subheadings that can be used are shown below. If your study cannot be organized according to these titles, you can organize your extended summary.

Extended Summary Content:

Research Questions & Purpose:
In this section, the information should be given about the subject of the study, which research question or questions it is based on, why this study is necessary (purpose), and its difference from other studies.

Literature Review:
The method of the literature review (which databases were used, what kind of sources were accessed etc.), the purpose and the general tendency of the sources reached (what are the intersections or divergences of previous studies on this subject, etc.) should be stated briefly.
Especially the studies directly related to the subject and purpose of the study should be summarized and it should be clearly explained why the study is important/meaningful in this sense, which gap it will fill, and what additional contribution it can provide.
Attention should be paid to the use of directly related and up-to-date sources, and care should be taken to present the relevant literature based on comparative and analysis.

Methodology:
• Type of study (applied, conceptual, theoretical, review);
• The design of the study (exploratory, descriptive, causal), if it is applied research;
• The problem (s) of the study (following those stated in the purpose part)
Model and / or hypothesis (s), if any.
Main mass, sampling method, the sampling process
• Data collection technique should be clearly stated,
• Which quantitative/qualitative analysis is used should be stated briefly.
• According to the type of study ‘Information on the Ethics Committee Permit Certificate (place of receipt, date, and the number of receipts) should be specified.

Results and Conclusions: Main findings, key inferences, conclusions, and/or recommendations regarding research objectives/questions should be written.
