Journal of Anatolian Geography is a scientific journal based on the broad perspective of geography and was established in 2024. It stands out as a platform that enables the publication of scientific research that includes the comprehensive approaches of geography (physical, human, natural environment, and geographic information systems) that produce solutions to physical and human problems related to time and space.
Our mission is to support scientific research with a multidisciplinary perspective to understand the events, processes, and interactions taking place in various geographical regions around the world, especially in Anatolian geography. At the same time, our journal aims to create a platform for works that produce scientific solutions to understand the social, physical, and nature-human relations required by the age by applying geographical science.
Our vision is to encourage innovative perspectives offered by geography, original research, and studies that contribute to knowledge production. Emphasizing the embracing nature of geography, it is to bring together researchers working to shed light on important issues around the world. All manuscripts go through a competent and independent refereeing process, and in accordance with the principle of open access, no processing fees are charged and a transparent approach to copyright is adopted. The Journal of Anatolian Geography continues its publication life with the aim of providing rich, up-to-date, and quality content in various fields of geography.
