The Journal of Child Development and Education (JCDE) published a variety of articles, essays, reviews, and educational writings on topics related to child development from 1999 to 2006. Covering multiple disciplines, the journal was intended not only for researchers and theorists but also for child psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, psychiatric social workers, early childhood education specialists, educational psychologists, special education teachers, and other professionals. The journal has since been relaunched, continuing its mission to publish the latest research and critical reviews, serving as a valuable resource for both academic and clinical communities. JCDE is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal that follows a double-blind review process and is published biannually. It aims to provide informative resources for theorists, educators, practitioners, and policymakers in the field of childhood studies.
JCDE accepts manuscripts written in English only, and authors may use either British or American spelling, provided the style is consistent throughout the manuscript. The journal is published online in June and December and is open access with no profit motive.
