ETHICAL PRINCIPLES AND PUBLICATION POLICY

ETHICS
The Journal of Engineering and Basic Sciences recognizes that internationally recognized ethical rules and publication policies should be applied by all parties (editor, referee, author). In order for an article to be published in the journal, it must be deemed suitable for publication by at least two referees. Articles that pass the blind review process and have no missing documents are deemed suitable for publication and sharing in the journal. Articles that do not comply with the journal's publication ethics policy during or after publication are removed from publication. The referees and/or editorial board of the journal have the right to request the documents of the study outputs from the authors in the studies they deem necessary. If the documents are not submitted, the article will be rejected. In case of ethical issues, the journal e-mail address should be informed.

Editors must uphold the principle of impartiality and confidentiality
Manuscripts submitted to the journal should be checked for journal eligibility before the referee process.
These are; conformity to the spelling rules, conformity to the template in terms of form, conformity to the purpose and scope, conformity to the principles and ethics of publication, examination of scientific originality and quality.
Ethical responsibilities of referees
The manuscript should be checked on the basis of the journal guidelines.
Academic quality and originality should be examined.
Information about the work should not be shared with 3rd parties.
The evaluation should be made within the defined period, and if necessary, additional time should be requested.
In case of copyright and plagiarism, the editor should be informed.

ETHICS FOR AUTHORS
Author names must be submitted in full.
The subject of the study must be appropriate to the scope of the journal.

Article Similarity/Plagiarism Report
All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Engineering and Basic Science (JOEBS) must pass the initial screening. All manuscripts are checked by similarity software (intihal.net), which is a mandatory step in the submission interface to JOEBS, which uses DergiPark's platform for plagiarism detection.
Plagiarized and unethical studies should not be submitted.
There should be no copyright infringement.
There should be no conflict of interest
The scope, methodology and results of the study should be clearly stated.
The similarity rate should not exceed 20%.

JOURNAL PUBLICATION POLICY
The content of the journal can be accessed online without any charge. It does not charge processing charges (APC) and article submission charges (ASC). The maximum article finalization period is 4 months. The article under review can be withdrawn through the DergiPark system, provided that all authors submit a withdrawal request letter with their wet signatures. However, the article cannot be sent to another journal before this process is completed. The article whose evaluation has been completed cannot be withdrawn. All rights of the published articles belong to Journal of Engineering and Basic Sciences. The scientific responsibilities of the article belong to the authors.

ETİK İLKELER VE YAYIN POLİTİKASI

ETİK
Journal of Engineering and Basic Sciences dergisi, uluslararası düzeyde kabul görmüş etik kuralların ve yayın politikalarının, tüm taraflarca (editör, hakem, yazar) uygulanması gerektiğini kabul etmiştir. Bir makalenin dergide yayımlanabilmesi için, en az iki hakem tarafından yayımlanmaya uygun görülmesi gerekmektedir. Kör hakem sürecini geçebilen ve eksik belge bulunmayan makaleler dergide yayımlanmaya ve paylaşılmaya uygun görülmüştür. Yayım sürecinde veya yayımlandıktan sonra, derginin yayın etik politikasına uygun olmayan makaleler yayımdan çıkarılır. Dergi hakemlerinin ve/veya editör kurulunun, gerekli gördüğü çalışmalarda, yazarlardan çalışma çıktılarına ait belgeleri isteme hakkı mevcuttur. Belgeler sunulmaz ise makale reddedilecektir. Etik konuları ile ilgili durumlar söz konusu ise dergi e-mail adresine bilgi verilmesi gerekmektedir.

Her makalenin kayıtları, yazışmalar elektronik ortamda saklanmalıdır
Editörler, tarafsızlık ve gizlilik ilkesini esas almadırlar
Dergiye gönderilen makaleler, hakem sürecinden önce dergi uygunluğu kontrol edilmelidir.
Bunlar; yazım kurallarına uygunluk, şekilsel olarak şablona uygunluk, amaç ve kapsam uygunluğu, yayın ilke ve etiğine uygunluk, bilimsel özgünlüğü ve niteliğinin incelenmesi.
Hakemlerin etik sorumlulukları
Makale, dergi yönergesi esasında kontrol edilmelidir.
Akademik nitelik ve özgünlük incelenmelidir.
Çalışmaya ait bilgileri 3. Kişilerle paylaşmamalıdır.
Tanımlanan süre içerisinde değerlendirme yapılmalı, gerekirse ek süre talep edilmelidir.
Çalışmada telif hakkı ve intihal görülmesi halinde, editöre bilgi verilmelidir.

YAZARLAR İÇİN ETİK

Yazar isimleri eksiksiz sunulmalıdır.
Çalışma konusunun dergi kapsamına uygun olması gerekmektedir.

Makale Benzerlik/İntihal Raporu

Journal of Engineering and Basic Science’ (JOEBS) e gönderilen tüm çalışmalar ilk taramadan geçmek zorundadır. Çalışmaların tamamı intihal tespit için DergiPark'ın platformunu kullanan JOEBS'e makale gönderimi arayüzde zorunlu bir adım olan benzerlik yazılımı (intihal.net) tarafından kontrol edilir.
İntihal içeren ve etik olmayan çalışmalar sunulmamalıdır.
Telif hakkı ihlali olmamalıdır.
Çıkar çatışması olmamalıdır
Çalışma kapsamı, metodolojisi ve sonuçları açıkca belirtilmelidir.
Benzerlik oranı %20 yi geçmemelidir.

DERGİ YAYIN POLİTİKASI
Derginin içeriğine herhangi bir ücret ödemeden çevrimiçi olarak erişilebilir. İşleme ücretleri (APC) ve makale gönderme ücreti (ASC) talep etmez. Makale sonuçlandırma süresi maksimum 4 aydır. Değerlendirme sürecindeki makale DergiPark sistemi üzerinden, tüm yazarların ıslak imzasının bulunduğu geri çekme talep yazısını göndermeleri şartı ile geri çekilebilir. Ancak, bu süreç tamamlanmadan, ilgili makale başka bir dergiye gönderilemez. Değerlendirmesi tamamlanmış makale geri çekilemez. Yayımlanan makalelerin tüm hakları Journal of Engineering and Basic Sciences’a aittir. Makalenin bilimsel sorumlulukları yazarlarına aittir.
