Energy sources based on fossil fuels are currently running out quickly. Utilizing energy effectively is crucial. As a result, several strategies are being developed to save energy in all areas where it is used. Indoor air conditioning is one of these areas. In this study, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based GPS predictive air - conditioner system has been created to reduce energy consumption and improve user comfort in interior air conditioning. With the created system, the location of the person is determined using GPS data, and the environment's temperature is determined using a temperature sensor. The temperature information determines whether or not to turn on the air conditioner, and the location information determines when the air conditioner will turn on. An infrared communication module is utilized to manage the air conditioner. For four months, measurements were taken to demonstrate the system's efficacy. Measurements were taken in December, January, February, and March. The user controlled the first two months while the climate control system controlled the final two months. The experimental study's resultant air conditioning control method offered around three times the higher energy savings
