Abstract

Sinema çalışmalarının başlangıcında ‘film kuramı’ ve ‘film eleştirisi’ baskındır. Bu nedenle geciken sinema tarihi çalışmaları, bugün, ‘Yeni Sinema Tarihi’ başlığı altında önem kazanmaya başlamıştır. Çalışma, sinema tarihyazımının başlangıcından bugüne kadar yaşanan değişimlerin izini sürmektedir. Saptanan değişimlerden hareketle, sinema tarihyazımının kapsamının ve özelliklerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmanın sonuç bölümünde, sinema tarihyazımının genel özellikleri göz önünde bulundurularak konuyla ilgili genel bir değerlendirmeye gidilmiştir
