1– The KADEM Journal of Women's Studies is an academic journal that focuses on original research in the field of women's studies and employs a double-blind peer reviewing process for evaluating submissions.
2– The KADEM Journal of Women's Studies of is published in both Turkish and English. Two field experts are asked to review the submitted articles for the Journal. In the event of a disagreement among the article reviewers, the perspective of a third reviewer is sought.
3– All researchers who serve as reviewers for the KADEM Journal of Women's Studies are expected to adhere to the Journal Ethics Code. To access the Journal Ethics Rules, please click on the provided link.
4– The reviewing process for the research and compilation of articles submitted to the journal is conducted using the DergiPark system. To view a presentation on the reviewing proceedings conducted using the DergiPark system, please refer to https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/download/file/72
5– The invitation for reviewing is sent to expert researchers in the relevant area of the article's subject by the editor or field editors through DergiPark.
6– The selected reviewers have a maximum of 7 days to respond to the invitation for evaluating the article. During this timeframe, researchers are anticipated to either decline or accept an invitation that has been sent to them.
7– The article's evaluation period is no more than 15 days if the researchers agree to review. In case of a delay during the reviewing process, an extra period of 5 days will be given.
8– During the evaluation process, the reviewers are required to fill out the Article Evaluation Form as defined in the DergiPark system. If deemed necessary or requested, the reviewers have the authority to make corrections or provide recommendations to the article's content.
9– Via the Article Evaluation Form of the KADEM Journal of Women’s Studies, reviewers are asked to assess the scientific merit and authenticity of the articles submitted, as well as their contribution to the field of women's studies. They are also expected to evaluate the authors' scientific competence, adherence to ethical guidelines, and the overall structure and language proficiency of the articles. Within the specified timeframe, the reviewers are required to provide a decision regarding the acceptance, rejection, or revision (either minor or major) of the article they have been assigned.
10– Reviewers who want to re-evaluate those articles in need of revision are requested to provide their final opinions on the articles within a period of 15 days from the date they receive the corrections. Positive evaluations are rendered for the reviewers whose final comments were not received within the allotted time.
