KARESI Journal of Architecture, launched in 2022, is a double-blind peer reviewed open access international journal e-published twice a year on every June and December. Karesi Journal is published in accordance with the Council of Higher Education Associate Professorship Criteria, and accepts submissions in English or Turkish. The journal covers the fields of architecture, city and regional planning, urban design, landscape architecture, industrial product design, building physics, sustainability, cultural heritage, and social science studies related to these fields. The works in the journal are expected to be original and scientific research studies with international originality, whose contribution to the relevant literature has been proven by qualitative, experimental and analytical methods. No evaluation and application fee is charged for the articles submitted to the journal. All works published in the journal are required to comply with the provisions of the “YÖK Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive”, the relevant legislation and the ethical principles published by the Publication Ethics Committee (COPE). The submitted studies are controlled by the authors for plagiarism with iThentcate ® (Plagiarism Detection Software) and similar programs (excluding resources). Studies with a similarity rate of more than 20 % are rejected by the journal editorial board.

KARESI Journal of Architecture encourages scientific and original research on topics such as Architectural Design, Project, Project Management, Building Mechanics, Sustainability, Building System Technology and Design, Architectural History, City and Regional Planning, Urban Planning Policies, Urban Design, Tangible and Intangible Cultural Heritage, Conservation and Restoration, Design Tools, Information Technologies in Design, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Planning, Industrial Design and Technologies, etc.
