Kocatepe Law Journal accepts submissions in the fields of law and related disciplines. The primary objective of the journal is to foster advancements in all branches of law by publishing original scholarly research and reviews. Additionally, it aims to contribute to both national and international legal scholarship and to provide theoretical support for legal practice. In line with these goals, Kocatepe Law Journal is a peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually (in June and December) in an electronic format.
The main problems encountered in the field of law in Turkey and in the world, scientific solution proposals and new theories are the primary areas of interest of the Journal. In this direction, the Journal publishes original scientific studies in the following types: research article, review article, decision review, work evaluation and translation. The conformity of the original studies subject to publication with the academic criteria is evaluated by two independent referees according to the double blind review system.
Our journal aims to contribute to the accumulation in the field of law by including academic and original studies in Turkish and English. In this context, peer-reviewed articles, reviews, reviews, translations and decision reviews will be included in all areas of law.
All scientific works submitted to our journal are first reviewed by the Editorial Board and then evaluated by national and international expert referees. Our journal uses a double blind review process.
The publication period of our journal is twice a year, April - October.
