The journal Culture and Communication (KI) is an interdisciplinary academic journal dedicated to publishing the best critical articles produced in the fields of communication, cultural criticism and social thought. Manuscripts submitted to the journal for publication are evaluated blindly by expert referees. Culture and Communication is published twice a year, in March and September; the publication languages are Turkish and English. The journal is scanned in TR-Dizin and ebscohost.
KI defines criticism as any kind of opposition to the dogmas in the search for the limits and possibilities of reason. Culture and Communication is open to the study of communication, as well as to all dimensions of thought that include communication, which is the basic component of human existence and culture—all social science disciplines, human sciences, all methods and the quests that arise from their intersections.
Although Culture and Communication is a peer-reviewed academic journal, it aims to appeal to a wide range of readers interested in communication. KI aims to be involved in current-academic debates while publishing the best articles that stand out in the field of communication, culture and social thought. Academicians, students from different disciplines and readers who are interested in the subject will find new thoughts and approaches related to the field of both theoretical and practical communication in this journal and will be able to follow the traces of new researches related to the field.
