This paper examines the status of Muslim individuals regarding religiosity, localuniversal and their responses to cartoon row. It also deals with the relationship between
these three dimensions. This paper is an outcome of a study which was conducted on 382 people using religiosity scale, local-universal attitudes scale, and scale of attitudes
against cartoon crises. The findings indicate that people are sensible to pay respect to sacred values of all religions. Moreover, they pay special tribute to their own religion, and
they have reactive and skeptic approaches towards cartoon row. Religiosity, in the context of cartoon crisis, has emerged as affiliation to religious values and defending them. Besides,
findings indicate that religiosity, local-universal attitude, and attitude against cartoon crisis are highly interrelated.
