
The editor ensures that published materials are securely archived. The Mesned Theology Research Journal submits its published articles to electronic archives and makes them fully accessible under an open-access policy without requiring any action from the author(s). Authors or funding organizations may upload a copy of the accepted article to archive sites. The Mesned Theology Research Journal author license permits reuse of the article (with full citation) solely for non-commercial purposes. For commercial use, permission must be obtained according to our policy.
The Mesned Theology Research Journal commits to keeping all its articles open access under the CC-BY-NC Creative Commons license and to storing the full-text content in archive platforms and on the journal’s website: https://dergipark.org.tr/en/pub/mesned.
- The Mesned Journal of Theological Studies allows authors to self-archive their article (final published version in publisher PDF) on their personal website and/or institutional repository after publication. Authors can also self-archive their articles in publicly available and/or subject-based commercial archives. There is no embargo period; however, the published source must be cited, and a link to the journal's homepage or the article’s DOI should be provided.
- Authors can download a PDF version of their article. They can also send copies of the article to colleagues without any embargo.
- The Mesned Journal of Theological Studies allows all versions of the articles (submitted version, accepted version, and published version) to be stored in an institutional or other repository, preferred by the author, without any embargo.
- The Mesned Journal of Theological Studies uses the LOCKSS system to enable the creation of permanent archives. The LOCKSS Program, based on Stanford University Libraries, provides award-winning, low-cost, open-source digital preservation tools to libraries and publishers to provide permanent, authorized access to digital content. The LOCKSS Program is a library-led digital preservation system built on the principle of “ensuring the security of multiple copies.”
