MetaMind is a peer-reviewed, international academic journal published twice a year (in June and December). The journal accepts papers both in Turkish and English and primarily publishes “research” and “review” articles in the fields of artificial intelligence and philosophy of mind. The journal also publishes “article translations” (into Turkish), “interviews” and “book reviews” in those fields. In some cases, it also accepts qualified research articles from other fields of philosophy.
MetaMind is the first international peer-reviewed philosophy journal published in Turkey in the fields of artificial intelligence and philosophy of mind. All papers submitted to MetaMind are subjected to a “double blind review” system and undergo equal evaluation processes.
MetaMind aims to contribute to the development of the fields of artificial intelligence and philosophy of mind in Turkey, to ensure the production of original studies in these increasingly important fields, to contribute to the translation of international literature produced in these two fields into Turkish, to prepare a theoretical basis for the philosophical and scientific analysis of concepts such as mind, consciousness, self-consciousness, intelligence and awareness, which are inseparable elements of human existence, and to provide resources and literature to researchers and academics working in these fields.
