Journal of Migration and Political Studies (MIPOS) was established in 2023 by Sakarya University Research Center for Diaspora Studies (DİAM). This journal of DİAM, which has been conducting studies on the Turkish Diaspora since its establishment in 2015, deals with interdisciplinary issues in the context of the theme of migration. It accepts studies focusing on migration phenomena such as public policies, discrimination and prejudice, Islamophobia, Turkophobia, human rights, and diaspora at the national and international level. The journal welcomes submissions from many social science disciplines such as international relations, sociology, migration, political science, economics, health, international law, etc.

Journal of Migration and Political Studies is published online twice a year, the first issue in March and the second in September, with 6-month periods. MIPOS publishes articles in Turkish and English. The similarity rate of the articles to be published should be 20% or less.
