MJEN is committed to protecting the users’ personal information while visiting its website. Use of any part of this website will imply users’ agreement to this Privacy Policy.

By registration to the MJEN Website, submission of papers or any other information, users authorize MJEN to release their personal information including their identities and institutions. The personal information includes the data automatically transferred by users’ computer and/or information that users deliberately key in registration forms when they sign up as MJEN members. This information is used for verification of users’ registration and submission-publication processes. The information is archived to notify users of any news about or modifications to the MJEN Policy as well as Terms and Conditions.

MJEN does not sell, rent/share any collected information to/with any Third Party. The information may only be disclosed with users’ consent when it is necessary to comply with the law or to protect MJEN/its users’ rights.

MJEN Privacy Policy will not cover the personal information that has been collected from any third-party website. In such cases privacy policies of those websites will apply.

Open Access and License Policy
Access to articles published in MANAS Journal of Engineering is free and licensed with open access. MANAS Journal of Engineering accepts this definition of the Budapest Open Access Initiative and fulfills its requirements. All scientific literature published in our journal has been peer-reviewed and open access has been provided. In addition, our journal has signed the Budapest Open Access Initiative declaration.
Articles and journal full issues published in our journal are published in pdf format on the dergipark platform and are licensed with the CC BY-NC (open access, attribution, non-commercial) license from creative commons licenses. Click for detailed information about the license.

Copyright Policy
While uploading their work to the system, authors must download the file named “copyright form”, approve the copyright agreement and sign it with a wet signature. The copyright agreement becomes valid with the publication of the article or study. Copyright agreement:
• The copyrights (moral, material and other rights) of all articles published in the journal belong to the relevant author(s) and are protected by relevant laws;
• The editorial board is authorized to publish in MANAS Journal of Engineering;
• Free open access can be provided to the published article in MANAS Journal of Engineering;
• The reuse of the article/study published in the journal will be permitted under the Creative Commons license CC BY-NC (Open access, Attribution and non-commercial) license;
• Users of my article in the journal can download, use and share the article/study in computer or electronic media, provided that (1) they reference the copyright owner and (2) they do not use the articles for commercial purposes;
• The article/study in MANAS Journal of Engineering is approved to be included in paid or free academic/scientific databases with the knowledge and approval of the Journal or to be republished by the Journal;
• In case I publish the article published here in other media later, a full reference will be given stating that the article or study was published by MANAS Journal of Engineering;

Archive policy
Articles published in this journal are digitally archived in LOCKSS with the privilege provided by the dergipark platform.
Our entire archive in Dergipark includes articles published in indexes such as TR-Dizin and Ebsco from the date they were accepted. In addition, an institutional offline archive is kept.
