Review articles are accepted by invitation to academics with research articles in the relevant field and are included in the peer review/publication process.

The Journal of Sport and Performance Research (OMU-JSPR), a peer-reviewed journal, was initially published in 2010 and is published tri-quarterly (April-August-December).

The JSPR is indexed in the SCIENCE Database in ULAKBIM and indexed by TUBITAK National Databases (TR DIZIN).
