Review Process

Journal of Landscape Research and Practices (JOLARP) is a peer-reviewed journal. Submitted articles are evaluated by three blind reviewers. The reviewer evaluation process is completed within 1-3 months. Articles sent to our journal are first subjected to a preliminary review by the editors. Articles that are found appropriate in terms of form and content are sent to three reviewers for evaluation. Due to the blind reviewing practice, reviewers do not know each other or the identities of the article authors, and authors do not know the identities of the reviewers. After the evaluation process, the editors decide on the acceptance or rejection status of the article in the light of the reviewer reports. In articles requested for revision, the changes suggested by the reviewers are sent back to the reviewers to ensure control. For articles requested for radical changes, the process is repeated from the beginning. Accepted articles are queued to be published in the current issue.
