Journal of Sakarya University Faculty of Theology is an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles in the field of theology and religious studies.
The journal is published twice a year, in June and December.
The publication languages are Turkish, English, and Arabic.
The maximum similarity rate for articles (including those produced from theses) is 20%.
Articles submitted to the journal must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
To ensure author diversity and provide opportunities for more researchers, the same author’s article will not be published in consecutive years.
If an editor submits an article to the journal, their access to the editorial panel is restricted. The editor follows all processes as an author. Once the process is completed, editorial privileges are restored.
Submitted articles are evaluated by the editors in terms of adherence to journal rules, compliance with academic publishing standards, originality, contribution to international literature, and alignment with the journal’s publication policy. Articles that do not meet these criteria are rejected. In cases of high submission volume, articles that meet the criteria are further scored, and those with lower scores may also be rejected.
Articles, including footnotes, references, and abstracts, must not exceed 9,000 words.
The author should add Turkish and English titles, abstracts, and keywords before the main text in each article. The Turkish abstract should be between 150-200 words and written in 7 points Verdana. The English abstract should be between 150-200 words and written in 7 points Verdana. In addition, each article should contain 5-6 keywords.
The works should be submitted in A4 size format in MS Word program.
