Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haktan KAPLAN was born in Ankara in 1991. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara. In 2009, he won the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Selcuk University, Faculty of Letters. He graduated from the same department in 2013. After graduating, he worked as a Turkish Language and Literature teacher at Konya Dr. Ali Rıza Bahadır Anatolian Imam Hatip High School for one year. In 2014, he was appointed as a lecturer at Selcuk University Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center (SÜ-TÖMER). In this position, Kaplan both taught Turkish to foreigners and served as the education coordinator in the same unit between 2017-2020. In 2016, Haktan Kaplan joined the Institute of Social Sciences at Necmettin Erbakan University; retired Assist. He received his specialization degree with his master's thesis titled "Brotherhood and Brotherhood in the Epics of the Turkic World", which he prepared under the supervision of Assistant Prof. Dr. Aziz AYVA. Again under the roof of the same university and institute under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Selçuk PEKER, he graduated with his doctoral thesis titled “Tombs and Visiting Places in Bolu and Düzce Folk Culture" and received his doctorate degree. Since 2021, under the direction of Selcuk University Turkish Language Department, Lecturer. He started to work as an Asst. Dr. and still continues to carry out this duty and academic studies. Kaplan applied to the interuniversity board in March 2023 and was awarded the title of "associate professor" on 20.07.2023. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haktan Kaplan has three scientific books and two textbooks. In addition, he has seven book chapters and fourteen articles published in national and international journals. In addition, Kaplan has nine papers in national and international symposiums in different years. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haktan KAPLAN, who is married and has one child, is still working at Selcuk University, Department of Turkish Language.
