Title page: A separate title page must be submitted with all submissions and must include the following information:
• The full title of the article (maximum 10 words) and a short title not exceeding 50 characters (3-6 words),
• Name(s), institution(s), academic degrees and ORCID numbers of the author(s),

Abstract: Articles should include a short but informative Summary. Each article must contain both English and Turkish abstracts. See Table 1 below for information on word count specifications.
Keywords: Each post should be presented with at least 3 and up to 6 keywords for subject indexing at the end of the abstract. Abbreviations should not be used when listing keywords.
Article Types
Research Articles
Research articles present new information based on original research. Acceptance of research articles is generally based on the originality and significance of the research. The main text of a Research Article should be structured with subheadings: Introduction, Method, Findings, Discussion, Conclusion and Recommendations.
Please review Table 1 for restrictions on research.
Review Articles
Articles prepared by experts who have knowledge on the subject of the article and whose knowledge is reflected in the international literature in the form of publications and citations are evaluated. Authors may also be invited by the journal. Reviews should provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of knowledge on a topic related to the journal's topic and include discussion and evaluation of relevant research. Subheadings of review articles can be planned by the authors. However, each review article should include an "Introduction" and "Conclusion" section. Please review Table 1 for restrictions on compilations.
Table 1. Restrictions for article types
Article type | Text word limit* | Abstract | Resources | Tables | Figures |
Research article | 6000 | 250 | 50 | 6 | Max. 10 |
Compilation | 7000 | 250 | 60 | 6 | Max. 15 |
*Word limit does not include abstract, references, tables and figure legends.
Heading Levels (numbered to a maximum of 4 levels)
First Level
Centered, bold, initials capitalized;
The text begins with a new paragraph.
Second Level
Aligned left, bold, initials capitalized;
The text begins with a new paragraph.
Third Level
Left aligned, bold, italic, initials capitalized;
The text begins with a new paragraph.
Fourth Level
It is bold, initials are capitalized, and ends with a colon. The text begins on the same line and continues as a standard paragraph.
Tables
Tables should be included in the main document after the reference list and numbered consecutively in the order referenced in the text. Each table should have a descriptive heading at the top, and any abbreviations used in the table should be identified below the table in footnotes (even if they are defined in the text). Above the title, there should be a descriptive title that covers the entire title in italic text. Tables should be prepared using the “Insert Table” command within the Microsoft Office Word file and arranged so that the data is easy to read and understand. The data presented in the tables should not be a repetition of the data presented in the main text, but should support and enhance the main text.
Images and Image Captions
Images, graphs, and photographs must be submitted as separate files in TIFF or JPEG format and inserted into the Word document. If an image has subunits, the subunits should be combined into a single image and the images should be labeled (a, b, c, etc.). The minimum resolution for each figure should be 300 DPI and the figures should be clear and easy to read. Image descriptions should be listed at the end of the main document. Images/images should be referenced in the main text and numbered consecutively in the order in which they are mentioned.
Abbreviations
All abbreviations used in the article should be defined at first use, both in the abstract and in the main text. An abbreviation should be provided in parentheses following the definition and used consistently throughout the article.
Identifying Products
When discussing an archive, resource, product, hardware or software program in an article, it is important to provide detailed information about the product in parentheses.
For example, if the Discovery St PET/CT scan device manufactured by General Electric in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA is mentioned, the information should be presented in the following format: "Discovery St PET/CT scan device (General Electric, Milwaukee, WI, USA)." Providing this information ensures accurate identification of the product.
Additional Materials
Supplementary materials, audio files, videos, dataset and additional documents (e.g. appendices, additional figures, tables) are used to complement the main text of the article. These additional materials should be presented as a separate section after the reference list. Brief descriptions should be added to explain the relevance of each additional material to the article. Page numbers are not required for supplementary materials.
Resources
When citing, the latest and most up-to-date publications should be preferred along with the main sources. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the sources. Both in-text references and bibliography sections should be prepared according to the version of the Publication Manual of American Psychological Association (APA) 7 published by the American Psychological Association (APA) 7, with the necessary revisions made for the journal (in Microsoft Word application, References, Manage Resources).
In-text references should include the author's surname and publication date in parentheses. Since publications in Social Sciences are voluminous in terms of pages, the number of pages must be used in our journal after the year of publication.
Example (APA 7)
Author | Quote in parentheses | Narration Quote |
Single author | (Gonzalez, 2019) | Gonzalez (2019) |
With two authors | (Gonzalez & Jones, 2019) | Gonzalez & Jones (2019) |
Three or more authors | (Gonzalez et al., 2019) | Gonzalez et al. (2019) |
Abbreviated group author: first quote Next quotes | (American Psychological Association [APA], 2020) (APA, 2020) | American Psychological Association (APA, 2020) (APA, 2020) |
Group writer without abbreviations | (University of California, 2020) | University of California (2020) |
No author information | (“New drug,” 1993) Use an abbreviated version of the title |

PRODUCTION
Once an article is accepted for publication, it goes through a further evaluation process by professional language editors. During this process, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors are corrected, while changes may be made to improve the overall understandability and readability of the article.
After the Language Evaluation process, the article can be published online as a "head-of-print" publication. This means that the article is made available to readers before it appears in the journal issue. This is to give readers access to the research as quickly as possible.
Before the article is officially published, a PDF proof copy is sent to the author for review. The corresponding author is asked to review and approve the article within a certain period of time (usually 2 days) for publication. This is an important step in the publishing process because it provides a final opportunity for the author to catch errors or make final changes.
