Feyza Çelik is a research assistant at Kilis 7 Aralık University and a doctoral candidate at Istanbul University, Tafsir Department, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Necmettin Gökkır (Istanbul University). She completed her BA degree (in 2019) at Istanbul University, Theology Faculty (English Programme), and subsequently earned her MA degree (in 2022) from the same institution in Tafsir. Her MA dissertation, titled "An Evaluation of the 189th Verse of Surah Al-Baqarah in the Context of Question and Answer," focused on the elucidation of asbab al-nuzul and the historical circumstances surrounding the verse. Currently, her research is centered on Western Scholarship on Quranic Studies, with a particular emphasis on “History of the Quran” and “Quran and Late Antiquity.” Additionally, her research interest includes also English and Turkish Quran translations.
After completing his undergraduate studies and pedagogical formation at Damascus University, he obtained a master's degree in educational content design from the same university. He continued his academic career by pursuing a PhD in digital content analysis and evaluation in the field of Arabic language teaching at Sakarya University. He has worked at various institutions and research centers in Damascus and Istanbul and has served as a faculty member at leading universities such as Marmara University and Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University. He is currently responsible for coordinating the Arabic education program at Al Jazeera Media Institute and works as a specialist in digital content analysis and evaluation.
