Abstract
In this study, the heat-setting method which applied on thermoplastic-heat sensitive-shrunken yarns were experienced as an innovative relief effect in fabrics that formed with the weaving method. Also, numerical and visual values of these methods were determined, and in the conclusion part, their contributions according to design criteria were analyzed. In applications, woven fabric structure with singlelayer and weaving fabric structure with double-layer in bag structure in dobby and jacquard weaving techniques, heat-sensitive and nonsensitive yarns were used. As a result, it was observed that the positive results of the relief effects with the usage of thermoplastic structured-heat sensitive yarns and heat-setting process on the fabrics that woven with the three different weft yarn groups and four different patterns.
