Year 2023, Volume: 4 Issue: 2, 125 - 139, 23.10.2023

Abstract

Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infection is the most common sexually transmitted disease of the lower genital tract. HPV can be transmitted from skin lesions, contaminated surfaces and birth canal in many ways, either directly or indirectly; However, it is reported that the most important transmission route is sexual. It is stated that HPV infection, which has a very high prevalence, affects many individuals worldwide and poses a risk of cervical cancer. In addition to treatment and care, efforts to prevent HPV infection are of great importance. The role of the nurse in preventive health services, the role of implementing the treatment and the role of the educator, in addition to the role of caregiver, are also important in preventing the spread of the virus. In the case who had no previous knowledge about HPV infection and did not have a pap smear test; It is aimed to present nursing care in individuals with Human Papilloma Virus (type 16) infection in line with the NANDA - I classification system.

Human Papilloma Virüs (Hpv) Enfeksiyonu Olan Bireyde Hemşirelik Bakımı: Olgu Sunumu

Year 2023, Volume: 4 Issue: 2, 125 - 139, 23.10.2023
