In today’s changing and developing education system, it is expected from the teachers considered as a “conductor” to release the Reform history lessons from sameness, recital by using different education methods and materials while planning learning-teaching process, and provide required atmosphere for getting targeted capabilities and behaviors. To provide this atmosphere, it can be said that using poems from literary works in the process of planning the Reform history lesson, can give an opportunity to teachers. In this study, it is asserted on the ideas of teachers about using poems from literary works in 11th grade Turkish Republic Reforming History and Kemalism. The sample of this research 80 history teachers who work on secondary education in 2009-2010 academic year in 8 central district on the boundaries of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, is identified by convenience sampling method. The data used in the research picked by survey tool developed for researchers. In-coherence factor value used for stability works is seen as α= 0.76. On consideration of the results, frequency, percentage, arithmetic average, t-test and one-way Anova statistic data is used. According to the results of the research, it is aimed to identify that is there any differentiation or not on matters of sex, type of school, professional seniority, and last graduated school of the t eachers’ ideas about using poems on history lessons. It is confirmed that turnouts about the effectiveness of the use of the poetry in elementary school 11th grade of Turkish Republic Revolution History and Kemalism are high.
Değişen ve gelişen günümüz eğitim sisteminde “orkestra şefi” rolü biçilen öğretmenden, öğrenme-öğretme sürecini planlarken farklı öğretim yöntemleri ve materyalleri kullanarak İnkılâp tarihi derslerini ezberden, tek düze anlatımdan kurtarabilmesi, hedeflenen beceri ve davranışları gerçekleştirebilecek ortamları sağlaması beklenmektedir. Bu ortamı sağlayabilmek amacıyla İnkılâp Tarihi dersi sürecinin planlanmasında edebi ürünlerden şiirin kullanılmasının öğretmenlere bu anlamda bir fırsat sunacağı söylenebilir. Bu araştırmada, 11. sınıf Türkiye Cumhuriyeti İnkılâp Tarihi ve Atatürkçülük dersinde tarih öğretmenlerinin bir edebi ürün olarak şiirin kullanımına ilişkin görüşleri üzerinde durulacaktır. Tarama modelinde gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmanın örneklemi uygun örnekleme (Convenience Sampling) yöntemi ile belirlenen 2009–2010 öğretim yılında Ankara ili Büyükşehir Belediyesi sınırları içerisinde bulunan 8 merkez ilçenin ortaöğretim okulunda görevli 80 tarih öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada kullanılan veriler araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen ölçme aracı ile toplanmıştır. Güvenirlik çalışması için hesaplanan iç tutarlılık katsayısı (Cronbach Alpha) değerinin α= 0.76 olduğu görülmüştür. Sonuçların değerlendirilmesinde frekans, yüzdelik, aritmetik ortalama, t-testi ve one-way anova istatistik değerleri kullanılmıştır. Yapılan araştırma sonucunda; tarih öğretmenlerine ortaöğretim 11. sınıf Türkiye Cumhuriyeti İnkılâp Tarihi ve Atatürkçülük derslerinde şiir kullanımına yönelik uygulanan anket sonucunda cinsiyetleri, çalışıyor oldukları okul türleri, mesleki kıdemleri ve mezun oldukları okul türüne göre aralarında anlamlı bir fark olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Tarih öğretmenlerine ortaöğretim 11. sınıf Türkiye Cumhuriyeti İnkılâp Tarihi ve Atatürkçülük derslerinde şiir kullanımının yararlılığına yönelik katılım oranlarının yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
