In this research towards the Alevis in high school history textbooks were performed to determine whether there had been any discrimination. A qualitative research method and document analysis techniques and content analysis were used. In 2013-14 years, the 9th 10th 11th 12th grade in history textbooks study sample consisted of. In this article it has been revealed in high school history textbooks "invisibility, stretyping, eclecticism and instability, unreality, fragmentation and isolation, language" have been introduced together against Alevis with the evidence of discrimination made.
Bu araştırmada Türkiye’deki lise tarih ders kitaplarında Alevilere nasıl ayrımcılık yapıldığı anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın sonuçları 2013-4 eğitim öğretim yılında devlet okullarında okutulan lise tarih ders kitaplarıyla sınırlanmıştır. Bu makalede lise tarih ders kitaplarında Alevilere “görünmez kılma, kalıp yargılama, seçmecilik ve dengesizlik, gerçekçi olmayış, parçalama ve yalıtma, dil” gibi ayrımcılıklar yapıldığı kanıtlarıyla beraber ortaya konulmuştur.

In accordance with the ULAKBİM decision of 25 February 2020, Ethics Committee Approval must be obtained for studies on people (without age restrictions), this approval must be specified in the Method section of the article and signed Ethics Committee Approval must be uploaded to the system. Beginning from Spring 2021 issue TUHED will require all Turkish manuscripts to contain a full-text English translation. Manuscripts submitted in Turkish will be requested to have full-text English translation if they are accepted for publication after the review process.
