Manuscript Writing Guidelines
Manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Economics and Innovation must be prepared in accordance with the following writing guidelines.
1. Article Structure and Format
The article title should be presented in both Turkish and English. The manuscript must include an abstract of 150-200 words in both Turkish and English. Abstracts should summarize the research’s objective, methodology, and key findings. Below the abstracts, a minimum of three and a maximum of five keywords should be provided.
2. Formatting Requirements
Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word format using the Times New Roman font. The main text should be written in 12-point font with single line spacing and should not exceed 20 pages, including appendices and references. There should be a 6-point space before and after the entire text. Page margins should be set as follows: top margin 4 cm, bottom margin 3.5 cm, and right and left margins 3.5 cm.
3. Title and Author Information
The article title should be centered, written in uppercase letters, bold, and in 14-point font. Author names and surnames should be right-aligned (12-point font). The authors' academic titles, institutional affiliations, and email addresses should be indicated in footnotes.
4. Headings Within the Text
Headings should be numbered (1., 1.1., 1.1.1.). They should be written in 12-point bold font. The entire text should be left-aligned, and extra spacing between headings and text should be avoided. There should be a 6-point space between paragraphs.
5.Tables, Figures, and Equations
Tables and figures should be numbered, and their titles should be indicated. Table titles should be placed above the tables (e.g., Table 1: Title of the Table…), while figure titles should be placed above the figures (e.g., Figure 1: Title of the Figure…), written in 11-point font. Equations should be centered on the page and numbered right-aligned.
6. Citation and References
In-text citations should follow the format (author’s surname, year: page number), e.g., (Romer, 1986: 1020). For sources with more than three authors, only the first author’s surname should be provided, followed by “et al.” (e.g., Köse et al., 2006: 5). All references should be listed alphabetically in the "References" section following APA formatting guidelines.
