Scope

Van Veterinary Journal Journal is a peer-reviewed scientific publication of Van Yuzuncu Yil University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and is published online three times a year, in March, July and November. The abbreviated name of the journal is "Van Vet J". Our journal started its publishing life in 1990 with the name of "Yuzuncu Yil University Veterinary Faculty Journal", and in 2015 it changed its name to "Van Veterinary Journal". Our journal is scanned in the Asos Index, CAB Abstracts, Ebscohost, Google Scholar, Index Copernicus, Sobiad, Turkey Citation Index.

Publications such as research articles, short articles, case reports and reviews prepared in Turkish or English, not previously published in another journal or presented simultaneously to another journal are accepted for our journal.

Our journal includes Veterinary Basic Sciences (Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Histology, History of Veterinary Medicine and Deontology), Veterinary Pre-Clinical Sciences (Pharmacology and Toxicology, Microbiology, Parasitology, Pathology, Virology), Veterinary Clinical Sciences (Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproduction and Artificial Insemination), Animal Science and Animal Nutrition (Animal Nutrition and Nutrition Diseases, Animal Science, Animal Health Economics and Management, Biostatistics, Genetics), Food Hygiene and Technology, Public Health, Exotic, Wild and Laboratory Animal Science. In this context, it is a journal that aims to contribute to national and international universal science by publishing short articles, case reports and reviews and a current and original research article in Turkish and English in the fields of Veterinary Basic Sciences, Pre-Clinical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Animal Science and Animal Nutrition Sciences, Food Hygiene and Technology, Public Health, Exotic, Wild and Laboratory Animal Science.
