He is a Fulbright alumnus who received his Ph.D. degree from the interdisciplinary Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (SLAT) doctoral program at the University of Arizona. His research interests include teacher education, linguistic landscapes, digital literacies, social media, the implementation of technology in second language teaching and learning.
