Journal of Peace Research and Conflict Resolution primarily aims to address the shortcomings identified in the field of peace studies in Turkey and to establish peace studies and conflict resolution as an academic discipline. In this context, the journal creates a platform for articles that focus on peace studies and try to explain the conflicts experienced by states and societies on a scientific basis. Political, sociological, cultural, economic and other dimensions and historical backgrounds of historical conflicts, diplomatic developments and various problems constitute the focal point of the studies. Thus, the Journal of Peace Research and Conflict Resolution aims to develop a common perspective by benefiting from different disciplines.
Journal, which is published in Turkish and English; covers studies in social sciences such as Economics, Business, Public Administration, International Relations, Law, Political Science, History, Sociology, Gender Studies and is published twice a year, in January and July.
