Farklı Yemlerin (Teke Karidesi (Palaemon serratus Pennant, 1777), Morio Kurdu (Zophobas morio Fabricius, 1776) ve Afrika Göçmen Çekirgesi (Locusta migratoria L. 1758)) Olta Balıkçılığında Av Verimliliğine Etkilerinin Karşılaştırılması

Öz

Olta balıkçılığında hedef balık türlerine ve habitatlara göre canlı, cansız ve yapay yemler kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Hexapoda türlerinden Morio Kurdu (Zophobas morio Fabricius, 1776) ve Afrika Göçmen Çekirgesi (Locusta migratoria L. 1758)’nin denizde olta balıkçılığında kullanılabilirliği ve av verimlilikleri Teke Karidesi (Palaemon serratus Pennant, 1777) ile karşılaştırmalı olarak test edilmiştir. Çalışma, Yelkoma Dalyanı’nda (Adana-Türkiye), toplam 420 olta operasyonu gerçekleştirilmiş ve 80 adet balık (72 adet çipura, 8 adet levrek) yakalanmıştır. Çipuraların % 45’i Teke Karidesi ile %33’ü Afrika Göçmen Çekirgesi ile ve %22’si Morio Kurdu ile, Levrek balığının da %75’i Afrika Göçmen Çekirgesi ile %25’i de Morio Kurdu ile yakalanmıştır. Oltaların ortalama CPUE değeri 0,003 (iğne/balık/saat) ve YPUE değeri de 0,327 (iğne/g/saat) olarak belirlenmiştir. Balıkların toplam ağırlıkları üzerinden yapılan Birim Maliyet Hesabına göre, en düşük maliyete sahip olan yemin Afrika Göçmen Çekirgesi olduğu belirlenmiştir.

A Comparison of different types of bait using (Common Prawn (Palaemon serratus Pennant, 1777), Morio Worm (Zophobas morio Fabricius, 1776), and African Migratory Locust (Locusta migratoria L. 1758)) effects on catch efficiency in marine angling

Öz

In angling, live, non-living and artificial baits are used according to the fish species and habitat. In this study, Morio wolf (Zophobas morio Fabricius, 1776) and African Migratory Locust (Locusta migratoria L. 1758) from hexapoda species were tested in comparison with Common Prawn (Palaemon serratus Pennant, 1777) in terms of usability and efficiency in marine angling. The study was carried out in Yelkoma Lagoon (Adana), with a total of 420 fishing trials and 80 fish (72 sea bream, 8 sea bass) were caught. Of the sea bream, 45% by Common Prawn, 33% by African Migratory Locust, and 22% by Morio Wolf also, of the sea bass, 75% by the African Migratory Locust, and 25% by the Morio Wolf were caught. Average CPUE and YPUE values for the fishing line were computed as 0.003 (hook/fish/hour) and 0,327 (hook/g/hour) respectively. According to the Unit Cost Calculation based on the total weight of the fish, the lowest-cost bait was calculated as the African Migratory Locust.
