1996’da Afyon Kocatepe Üniversitesi/ Fen- Edebiyat Fakültesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümü’nden mezun oldum. Yüksek lisansımı 2003’de “Afyon ve Yöresi Halk Bilimi Ürünlerinde Eski Türk İnançlarının İzleri” doktoramı ise 2013 yılında “Kütahya İli Türbe ve Yatırları Etrafında Oluşan İnanç ve Uygulamalar” isimli çalışmasmla Balıkesir Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Ana Bilim Dalında tamamladım. 2000-2004 yılları arasında Millî Eğitim Bakanlığında Türkçe öğretmeni olarak, 2004-2015 yılları arasında da Dumlupınar Üniversitesi Türk Dili Bölümünde okutmanlık, 2013-2015 Eğitim Öğretim yılında, Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Uluslararası Türk-Kazak Üniversitesi Filoloji Fakültesinde öğretim görevliliği, 2015 yılından itibaren de Kütahya Dumlupınar Üniversitesi Fen- Edebiyat Fakültesi/ Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümünde Doktor Öğretim Üyesi, 2018 yılında doçent kadrosuna atandım.

Lisans eğitimini tamamladı. Bu süreler zarfında, çeşitli kolejler ve Yeditepe Üniversitesi’nde İngilizce dersleri verdi. 2000 yılından itibaren Marmara Üniversitesi’nde çalışmaktadır. Çeşitli Avrupa Birliği projeleri için saha çalışmalarında bulunmak üzere uzun süreli yurtdışı çalışmaları yapmıştır. İyi derecede İngilizce bilmekte ve 6 editörlü, 2 de bireysel olmak üzere 8 kitabı bulunmaktadır.
Bartosz Jóźwik, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of International Economics at the Institute of Economics and Finance at The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin in Poland. Earlier, he held academic positions at various institutions, including at the Nanovic Institute for European Studies at the University of Notre Dame in the USA and at the Faculty of Economics at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. His research interests focus on issues surrounding European economic integration, growth and economic development in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, and environmental economics. Max Gillman serves as Hayek Professor of Economic History at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. He currently serves as Associate Editor for Economic Modelling, part time Research Professor at Corvinus University of Budapest and Senior Researcher at European Research University (ERUNI), a Research Associate at CERGE-EI, Prague, and at CERS-EI, Budapest, and Visiting Professor at the National Bank of Slovakia,. Previously he served as full professors at Cardiff Business School, UK, and at Central European University (CEU) in Budapest, where he also served as visiting professor at CEU until 2020. Recent past positions include Senior Fellow at the Corvinus Institute for Advanced Studies, visiting professor at the Bank of Finland. Earlier visiting positions include were at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, Loughborough University, UK, New York University, the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, University of Minnesota, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, The University of Chicago, International Monetary Fund, and Monash University, and Melbourne University. Prof. Dr. Fevzi Serkan Özdemir,
Ankara Üniversitesi Siyasal Bilgiler Fakültesi İşletme Bölümü’nde Muhasebe ve Finansman Anabilim Dalı’nda profesör olarak görev yapmaktadır. Doktorasını Ankara Üniversitesi'nde tamamlayan Prof. Özdemir, çalışmasında Tekdüzen Muhasebe Sistemi ve Uluslararası Finansal Raporlama Standartları çerçevesinde üretilen finansal tablo bilgilerinin, finansal bilgilerin niteliksel özelliklerinden biri olan bilginin ihtiyaca uygunluğu açısından finansal başarısızlık tahminleri yoluyla değerlendirilmesini ele almıştır. Bu çalışması, 2011 yılında İktisadi Araştırmalar Vakfı tarafından düzenlenen tez değerlendirme yarışmasında En İyi İkinci Doktora Tezi ödülüne layık görülmüştür.
Doktora sürecinde ve sonrasında New York Üniversitesi'nde misafir araştırmacı olarak bulunan Prof. Özdemir, muhasebe bilgi sistemi, finansal raporlama ve analiz, muhasebe kuramı ve eğitimi, uluslararası muhasebe ve kurumsal sürdürülebilirlik konularında çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.
Prof. Özdemir'in birçok ulusal ve uluslararası dergide yayımlanmış makalesi ve çeşitli bilimsel toplantılarda sunulmuş bildirileri bulunmaktadır. Aynı zamanda birçok üniversitede finansal raporlama, sürdürülebilirlik ve finansal performans konularında yüksek lisans ve doktora tezlerine danışmanlık yapmıştır. Prof. Özdemir ayrıca Serbest Muhasebeci Mali Müşavir (SMMM) ve Bağımsız Denetçi yetki belgelerine sahip olup, Güvence Hizmetleri Derneği'nin genel başkan yardımcısı olarak görev yapmaktadır.
Mehmet Asutay is a Professor of Middle Eastern and Islamic Political Economy & Finance at the Durham University Business School and the Director of the Durham Centre in Islamic Economics and Finance.
Mehmet’s teaching, research, publication, and supervision of research is all in Islamic moral economy/Islamic economics, Islamic political economy, Islamic finance and banking, Islamic governance and management, Islamic social welfare institutions, and the Middle Eastern political economies.
His articles on his research interests have appeared in various international academic journals and professional magazines. He has also published manuscripts and edited books on aspects of Islamic moral economy and Islamic finance.
Mehmet has acted as a consultant to COMCEC (part of OIC), CIBAFI and UNDP-IICPSD on various projects and was also a member of the Board of Directors of Albaraka Turk Participation Bank from 2018-2020.
Mehmet has recently been engaged in a project (The Invisible Ceiling: Muslim Immigrant Entrepreneurs Navigate Norway’s Financial Environment – funded by the Norwegian Research Council) - aiming to develop entrepreneurship culture among Muslim refugees and immigrants through various instruments of Islamic finance. The project proposes blended financing involving Islamic commercial finance as well as Islamic social finance in empowering Muslim refugees and immigrants. Mehmet has been involved in a UNDP project to develop Islamic microfinance instruments in Afghanistan. He completed projects for CIBAFI in developing the Sustainable Development Guide for Islamic Financial Institutions and for UNDP in developing an MOOC training programme in Islamic Finance for SDGs.
Mehmet is the editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Islam and Society, the International Journal of Islamic Economics and Finance Studies, and the Review of Islamic Economics. Mehmet is also a Board Member of the International Association for Islamic Economics.
Mehmet is the 2024 Laureate of IsDB (Islamic Development Bank) Prize for Impactful Achievement in Islamic Economics for recognition of his novel work on Islamic moral economy and the articulation of Islamic finance to be supportive of sustainable development and the welfare of human beings.
