Dr. Durmus OZDEMIR is currently working as an Associate Professor in Computer Engineering Department at Kutahya Dumlupinar University since May 2016. He gained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Education and Instructional Technologies Department at Ataturk University in April 2015. His research interests are instructional technology integration, digital transformation, e-learning, distance education policies, optimization, data security science, and deep learning. He has various research articles published in international and national indexed journals, book chapters, and papers submitted to international meetings. He supervised 13 master theses. He has also contributed to research projects.
Prof. Dr. Kadir GÖK received his Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Education from Gazi University, Afyon Kocatepe University, and Kocaeli University, respectively. He began his academic career as an Instructor at Dumlupınar University in 2004 and later received training in Biomechanics at Ulm University. Dr. GÖK has authored numerous scientific publications and been involved in TÜBİTAK and BAP supported projects. He holds one registered patent, four patent applications, and two registered trademarks. Recently, he advised a team that won first place in the Industrial-focused R&D and Innovation Project Competition organized by Adana Hacı Sabancı Organized Industrial Zone Directorate. He was a finalist in the "Health Awards of Turkey" platform for three consecutive years. Dr. GÖK has participated in various educational seminars globally. He assumed roles as an Assistant Professor at Manisa Celal Bayar University in 2016 and was promoted to Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering in 2018. Since August 2, 2019, he has served as an Associate Professor in Biomedical Engineering at İzmir Bakırçay University. Dr. GÖK was appointed as a Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at İzmir Bakırçay University in July 2023. From June 2020 to December 2023, he served as the Director of İzmir Bakırçay University Biomedical Technologies Design Application and Research Center.
Dr. GÖK's research interests encompass biomechanics, biomaterials, biosensors, computer-aided finite element analysis, biomechanical analyses, biomedical and orthopedic device design, and computer-aided design and manufacturing technologies.
He is working as Associate Professor in Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Computer Engineering Dept. His research interests center around theoretical improvements of methods related to the machine learning, computer vision, image processing, data mining and their intersections with real-time industrial projects.
Yusuf Kartal, 2007 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Bilgisayar Mühendisliği bölümünden lisans derecesini aldı. Savunma sanayi ve sağlık alanlarında on yıldan fazla bir süre yazılım geliştirici, ekip lideri ve proje yöneticisi olarak çalıştı. 2017 yılında Anadolu Üniversitesi Bilgisayar Mühendisliği bölümünden yüksek lisans derecesini ve 2023 yılında Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi Bilgisayar Mühendisliği bölümünden doktora derecesini aldı. Araştırma ilgi alanları arasında DevOps ve siber güvenlik, özellikle yazılım güvenliği yer almaktadır. Halen teknik yöneticisi olduğu bir yazılım şirketinin kurucu ortağıdır ve Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi Bilgisayar Mühendisliği Bölümü'nde doktor öğretim üyesi olarak çalışmaya devam etmektedir.
Ibrahim Kamel a professor in Computer Engineering; he was the chairman of the department of Computer Engineering. Before that Prof. Kamel served as the Director of the Institute for Leadership in Higher Education at the University of Sharjah. Dr. Kamel also served as the chairman of the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Sharjah. He received his Ph.D. in computer science from University of Maryland, College Park. He also worked for eight years in industrial research as a Lead Scientist in USA.
Prof. Kamel has 25 patents and more than 190 refereed papers published in international conferences and journals (H-index=38; citations=6500). He is serving in the editorial boards for several international journals and chaired several international conferences. He served as an adjunct professor at Concordia University, Canada, Rutgers University in New Jersey, New York University in Brooklyn, New York, and Strayer University in Virginia. His research interests include spatial indexing, databases, cybersecurity, multimedia systems, and social networks.
