Chatkamon Singnoy, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Faculty of Sport Science at Burapha University and a sport psychologist with the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT). He received his doctoral degree in 2008 from Burapha University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Faculty of Sport, University of Porto, Portugal in 2011-2012. His research focuses on factors affecting athlete burnout, mental toughness, performance enhancement, and mindfulness. He is a committee member for the Sports Science Society of Thailand (SSST) and the Thailand Applied Sports Psychology Association (TASPA). He reviews research for various national and international journals on sport and exercise science.
Dr. Singnoy has authored a textbook, Sport Psychology: From Theory to Practice, and several pocketbooks, including Sport Psychology in Action and Be Better, Be Stronger and Live a Positive Life. He is the founder of the Sport Psych Lab Facebook page, the Noo SportPsycho TikTok account, and the Noo SportPsycho official YouTube channel. In addition to his research, he has extensive experience as a sport psychologist, working with athletes at various levels, including youth, international competitors, and professionals.
His collection of research articles, published with colleagues, significantly advances the field of sports science in Thailand, with a particular focus on sports psychology. The research explores diverse topics including athletic burnout, mental toughness, mental energy, psychological skills (imagery, mindfulness, self-talk), and mindfulness interventions. Key contributions include the development and validation of Thai versions of questionnaires for assessing psychological constructs, and the investigation of various interventions to enhance athlete performance. Additionally, he developed a sports psychology in action protocol combined with a neurofeedback tool for a Neuro Mindful Athlete program. Moreover, his work applies sport psychology in action with technology to enhance athlete mental performance.
Dr. Mohamed Hassan Mohamed is an accomplished academic and leader in medical education, specializing in physiology. He earned his PhD from the Faculty of Medicine at Ondokuz Mayıs University, where he developed a strong foundation in research and Physiology.
Currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Zamzam University, Dr. Mohamed has been at the forefront of advancing medical education and research. Under his leadership, the faculty has embraced innovative approaches to teaching, interdisciplinary collaboration, and community health initiatives.
Dr. Mohamed is passionate about mentoring future healthcare professionals and addressing public health challenges. His dedication to academic excellence and community service continues to inspire growth and innovation in the field of medicine.
