Dr.Ocak completed his undergraduate education (1998) in Ankara University, Faculty of Science in the field of Mathematics, and his master's degree (2002) and doctorate education (2006) in the field of Instructional Technology at the New York State University-Albany Faculty of Education. He taught in schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education between 1998-1999. He started to work as a Research Assistant at Gazi University, Gazi Education Faculty, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies in 2006. He received the title of Assistant Professor in 2008, Associate Professor in 2012 and Professor in 2020 in the same department. In 2015, he carried out postdoctoral studies at the University of Florida Gainesville in the United States. He has attended to hundreds of local and foreign conferences and congresses; published articles, books; studied in projects in the field of Information Technologies and has held administrative positions. He is still working as a full-time professor at Gazi University. His recent works focus on metaverse, robotics, coding and the internet of things. He is the editor-in-chief of the international Journal of Learning and Teaching in Digital Age.
Dr Ivana Krsmanović is a professor of applied sciences affiliated with the Faculty of Technical Sciences Čačak, University of Kragujevac, Serbia, where she also holds the position of Head of the Department for Humanities and Social Sciences. She is a recipient of the prestigious Joint Excellence in Sciences and Humanities (JESH) scholarship (2023), awarded by the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Dr. Krsmanović’s scholarly pursuits focus on English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction, computer-assisted language learning, and digital humanities. She has been actively involved in several projects at the intersection of digital humanities and computer-assisted language learning, especially in exploring the aspects of the Community of Inquiry within EFL online teaching.
Dr Masitah Shahrill is an Associate Professor and Teacher Educator at the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, where she began as a lecturer in August 2001. She earned her second Master’s and Doctorate in Mathematics Education from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Dr Masitah has held numerous administrative roles, including Deputy Dean of Academic and Dean at the institute. Her research interests include Teacher and Teacher Education, Mathematics Education, Secondary and Higher Education, Classroom Research and Assessment.
