The development of today's technology and the transition to digital life show itself in many areas of our lives. Many transactions, which are done manually under normal conditions, have moved to online environments with digitalization. Parallel to the healthy living habits of individuals, sometimes with special devices and sometimes through phone applications, they follow the pedometer, sleep, etc. many programs have now been moved to smart watches and individuals benefit from many applications for health purposes. In this study, answers were sought to the questions of the experiences of academicians who use smart watches in the context of their health life habits, the reasons why they prefer to use smart watches, and which applications they prefer to use. The research consists of academicians selected from Cappadocia University and Hacı Bektaş Veli University in Nevşehir. The study was conducted with 7 female and 6 male academicians through a semi-structured interview form and the interviews were terminated when the data obtained began to repeat after the 12th interviewer. In conclusion; smart watch usage; daily walking, water consumption, heart rate, etc. It has been stated that it positively promotes health indicators.
