1990 yılında Kayseri’de doğdum. Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Öğretmenliği bölümünden 2013 yılında mezun oldum. 2023’te Erciyes Üniversitesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Ana Bilim dalında “Türk Romanında Erkek(lik) Kurguları (1923-1938)” başlıklı tezimi savunarak doktora eğitimimi tamamladım. Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam Üniversitesi, İnsan ve Toplum Bilimleri Fakültesi, Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı bölümünde görev yapmakta ve çalışmalarımı sürdürmekteyim. Edebiyatta kimlik inşası, toplumsal cinsiyet çalışmaları, modern edebiyat kuramları, Cumhuriyet dönemi Türk romanı, modern Türk şiiri, edebiyatta söylem incelemeleri ilgi duyduğum konu başlıkları arasındadır.

Emrah Cinkara, Ph.D., is a Professor at Gaziantep University, Department of Foreign Languages Education, with a career marked by innovative research in English Language Teaching (ELT). Holding a Ph.D. from Çukurova University, his doctoral research employed eye-tracking technology to explore pronoun resolution among Turkish learners of English. Prof. Cinkara's academic roots trace back to Middle East Technical University for his Bachelor's, and Gaziantep University for his Master's, where his thesis investigated the interplay between self-efficacy and success in EFL. His scholarly contributions include extensive publications in peer-reviewed journals and leadership in national and international ELT projects, emphasizing the integration of technology in language learning. As a recognized leader in ELT, Dr. Cinkara has served as the Principal of the School of Foreign Languages at Gaziantep University and managed its Distance Education Application and Research Center. His work has significantly centered around ELT pedagogy and assessment, earning him accolades such as TÜBİTAK publication incentives. Prof. Cinkara’s global perspective is enhanced by his experience as a Visiting Researcher at The Open University, underscoring his commitment to advancing ELT through innovation and research.
