A BIBLIOMETRIC STUDY ON IMPLICIT LEADERSHIP RESEARCH IN MANAGEMENT

The purpose of this article is to determine the place of implicit leadership studies in the management and organizational literature and to present the social structure of implicit leadership studies in management from a holistic point of view. Within the scope of the research, the analysis of 306 studies published between 1974 and 2022 was carried out using bibliometric methods. In the research, the analyses were visualized using the VOSviewer program. It has been determined that the annual growth rate of implicit leadership studies in the field of management is 5.49%. Most of the authors have preferred to publish in journals in the field of Leadership. It has been found that the most commonly used keywords in the studies are “implicit leadership”, “performance” and “perception”.

Bu makalenin amacı, örtük liderlik çalışmalarının yönetim ve organizasyon literatüründeki yerini belirlemek ve yönetimde örtük liderlik çalışmalarının sosyal yapısını bütüncül bir bakış açısı ile sunmaktır. Araştırma kapsamında 1974 ile 2022 yıllarında yayınlanan 306 çalışmanın analizi bibliyometrik yöntemler kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Araştırmada VOSviewer programı kullanılarak analizler görselleştirilmiştir. Yönetim alanında örtük liderlik çalışmalarının yıllık büyüme oranının %5.49 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yazarların çoğu Liderlik alanında dergilerde yayın yapmayı tercih etmiştir. Çalışmalarda en çok kullanılan anahtar kelimelerin “örtük liderlik”, “performans” ve “algı” olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
