Öğrenme Güçlüğü Yaşayan Çocuklarda ve Ebeveynlerinde Yaşam Kalitesi

Öz
Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğrenme güçlüğü ile tanılanmış çocukların ve
ebeveynlerinin yaşam kalitesi düzeylerini incelemektir. Araştırmada 120 çocuk
ve 120 ebeveynin yaşam kalitesi sırasıyla Çocuklar İçin Genel Amaçlı Sağlıkla
İlgili Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği (KINDL-R-Kid) ve Dünya Sağlık Örgütü Yaşam Kalitesi
Ölçeği-Kısa Formu Türkçe Versiyonu (WHOQOL-BREF-TR) ile ölçülmüş olup; yaşam
kalitesi düzeyleri ve bu düzeyler arasındaki ilişki ile çocuk yaşam kalitesinin
ebeveyn yaşam kalitesini ne düzeyde yordadığı betimsel ve çıkarımsal
istatistiksel analiz yöntemleri ile araştırılmıştır. Bulgular, çocuk ve ebeveyn
yaşam kalitesi arasında anlamlı ilişkiler olduğunu ve çocuk yaşam kalitesinin
ebeveyn yaşam kalitesini anlamlı düzeyde yordadığını göstermiştir. Elde edilen
sonuçlardan yola çıkılarak öğrenme güçlüğüne dair psiko-sosyal ve psiko-eğitsel
hizmetler geliştirilirken, başta aile olmak üzere sistem içinde yer alan tüm
unsurların dikkate alınması gerektiğini göstermektedir.
