Guidelines for Withdrawing a Manuscript

Authors who wish to retract a published article or during the evaluation phase must cooperate with the journal and publication editorial board.
Following the ethical principles and publication policy of the Journal of Anadolu University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, the authors and the editorial board in case an article is retracted are stated below.

Retraction status of the unpublished article:

Authors may retract an article before publication. To withdraw an article that is at the pre-check or evaluation stage, the authors fill out the "Withdrawal Form" and sign it with the wet signature of each author and send the scanned version to the journal editor and editorial board via e-mail. The journal also reserves the right to withdraw an article in case of detection of plagiarism, copyright, incorrect data use or other violation of ethical rules.

Authors

To withdraw a published article, authors are obliged to fill out the "Withdrawal Form" and send the scanned version, signed with the wet signature of each author, to the editor and editorial board via e-mail. The retraction form must clearly and unambiguously explain the reason or reasons for the withdrawing of the article. The editor and editorial board review the retraction request and get back to the authors within 15 days at the latest. Authors cannot submit their articles to another journal for evaluation unless the retraction request for articles whose copyrights have been transferred to Anadolu University Journal of Economics and Administrative Sciences during submission is approved by the editor and editorial board.

Editorial Board

Anadolu University Journal of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences has the right to initiate an investigation regarding an article published or under evaluation by the editor and editorial board in case of suspicion of plagiarism, copyright, use of incorrect data, or violation of other ethical rules. As a result of the investigation, the editor and the editorial board, if it is determined that there is a situation that prevents the article from being published in the evaluation stage, withdraw the study from the evaluation stage and reserve the right to return it to the authors, citing the detected situations in detail. If plagiarism, copyright, use of incorrect data, or other violations of ethical rules are determined in a published article, the editor and editorial board publish a note titled "Withdrawn: Article Title" on the journal's website as part of the first issue to be published from the date of retraction.
