Reviewing Process

Antropoloji follows a double-blind peer-review policy. At least two blind peers selected by the editor(s) decide whether the submitted manuscripts are publishable. If one of the reviewers reject the submission and deems the manuscript unpublishable while the other thinks the contrary, at least one other blind reviewer will be assigned and the final decision is made according to their call. Shortly, in order to be accepted for publication, at least two reviewers should accept a manuscript, whether with or without revisions.


The editorial does not guarantee publication to all the submitted manuscripts. Unethical works or research out-of-scope of the journal can be rejected even before sending to reviewers. Likewise, submissions can be rejected by the editor-in-chief even though the other editors or reviewers accepted them.

All the published contents in Antropoloji are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). That means the published contents can be used elsewhere by giving appropriate credits, references and a link to the license. Users should also indicate if any changes to the original work have been made. Moreover, users cannot use the original and/or derived material for any commercial purposes. Briefly, the author(s) and reader(s) can reproduce and/or spread the published and/or electronic content in Antropoloji, without any commercial purposes. Nevertheless, this does not necessarily mean that Antropoloji will endorse you or your work as the licensor.
