Abstract
In recent years, entrepreneurs who have difficulties in realizing their ideas can request funds through websites (e.g kickstarter.com, indiegogo.com, crowdfun.com), and this process is called crowdfunding. Although crowdfunding applications are much older, they have been used as a concept since 2006. The aim of the study is to make a bibliometric analysis of published articles on crowdfunding. For this purpose, the publications published in the SCOPUS database were examined. The first publication in the analyzed database belongs to 2010. In the study, the articles whose publication process was completed were included in the analysis. When the articles were analyzed, it was determined that the most publications related to crowdfunding were made in 2019 and 2020. While the United States is the country with the highest number of publications, 20 authors from Turkey contributed to the crowdfunding literature. In addition, Turkey is the 33rd country among 81 countries in terms of contribution to the literature. The number of articles with a single author is 321. The most frequently used keyword is crowdfunding. While the journal with the highest number of publications was the Sustainability, no publication was made by any journal from Turkey.
