The aim of ÂSÂR: Journal of Academic Religious Studies is to contribute to scientific knowledge by publishing high-quality and original research.

ÂSÂR: Journal of Academic Religious Studies publishes original research articles, translated articles, research notes, and book/scientific conference reviews in all fields related to theology. The journal is open access and published online. Submissions that comply with the journal’s scope and submission guidelines are sent for scientific evaluation to at least two experts in the relevant field. The Editorial Board of ÂSÂR: Journal of Academic Religious Studies determines whether a submission will be published based on the referees' evaluations. The journal’s Publication Board is committed to adhering to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive issued by the Council of Higher Education.
