Writing Rules

Submissions to our journal must be prepared in accordance with the footnote citation principles of the İSNAD Citation System (2nd Edition). The in-text citation system (APA) is not used in our journal. For more information on İSNAD 2nd Edition, see: https://www.isnadsistemi.org/knowledgebase_category/isnad2/.

Except for the main title (Turkish-English), “Introduction,” “Conclusion,” and “References,” all headings must include numbering.

All submissions must be uploaded to the system with Turkish and English abstracts of 250-400 words along with keywords.

The main title (in Turkish/English) should be in 12-point font. The titles for Abstract/Öz and Keywords/Anahtar Kelimeler, as well as all other headings within the text, should also be in 12-point font and written in bold.

The main text, Abstract/Öz, and Keywords/Anahtar Kelimeler should be in 11-point font, while footnotes should be in 9-point font with 6 nk line spacing.

All religious terms and author names must conform to the spelling used in the Diyanet Islamic Encyclopedia (DİA) and must be consistently applied throughout the text. For other commonly used Turkish words, the Turkish Language Association (TDK) guidelines should be followed. Special attention must be given to diacritical marks and final letters in words according to TDK standards.

Every scholarly work must include a References section. All references must be written in the Latin alphabet, and their format, accuracy, and accessibility should be carefully ensured.

Submissions that do not comply with the writing guidelines will be returned to the author for revision before being processed for review.
